FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please join us in celebrating our special day dressed in cocktail attire. We encourage polished, dressy looks such as suits or blazers with dress shirts and ties, and cocktail dresses or jumpsuits.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We're planning an adults-only celebration and would love to have you there to help us mark this special day. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I fish at the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We'd love for you to fish during the celebration following our ceremony and reception. We'll have fishing poles available for our guests, and there will be a vacuum sealer and freezer on-site so you can preserve your catch. Please note that an Alaska fishing license is required. You can purchase one online at adfg.alaska.gov before your arrival.

Question

Can I bring my dog to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, the venue has a no-pet policy. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

As the venue is located approximately three hours from Anchorage, we recommend renting a car for the most convenient travel experience. If you prefer not to rent, feel free to coordinate a ride with fellow guests who are doing so. A few things to keep in mind for your drive: the road can be uneven and unpredictable for those unfamiliar with the route, so please drive carefully. We suggest filling up with gas in Anchorage or at the Girdwood gas station before heading out. You'll experience limited cell service for portions of the drive, though there are a few pit toilets along the way. Please use caution when entering and exiting these parking areas.

Question

Are there hotels or Airbnb options near the venue?

Answer

Yes, you'll find a wonderful variety of accommodation options in Soldotna and the surrounding areas, with both hotels and Airbnb rentals to choose from. We recommend booking early to ensure you secure your preferred lodging.
