We first crossed paths in the summer of 2018 at Dry Creek Baptist Camp. We didn’t talk much back then, but that changed in 2019 when his family moved to Denham Springs, LA after his dad became the pastor at our church. That’s when we really got to know each other. We dated all throughout high school and made so many memories together. We went to every homecoming, prom, and school dance together. No matter what life threw at us, we stuck by each other through every high and every low. In May of 2025, we bought our first house together. And on the exact same day we closed on our house (May 16, 2025) he proposed! It was the most perfect way to start our next chapter. A few months later, we decided to elope on August 1, 2025 and officially begin our life as husband and wife. Now, our favorite days are the simple ones: going on walks with our two dogs Waylon and Charlie, cooking dinner together, watching movies, spending time with our families, and relaxing on the back porch with our fur babies. It’s the little things that make our life so sweet. God has truly blessed us with our sweet family. We can't wait to see what God has in store for us and we can't wait to grow our family in the future. :)
