Is a travel visa required to visit Portugal?

Answer

Coming from the U.S.: A travel visa is NOT required for visits <90 days. Please refer to the Department of State website (https://travel.state.gov/en/international-travel/travel-advisories/portugal.html) for any updates regarding travel to Portugal. Coming from a European (EU and non-EU) country: A travel visa is NOT required for visits <90 days. Coming from the Philippines with a Phillipines passport: A Schengen visa is required. Please refer to Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs website (https://vistos.mne.gov.pt/en/short-stay-visas-schengen/required-documentation/short-stay-visa) for additional information.

Will there be arranged transportation for guests before and after the 3-day wedding event?

Answer

No. Guests are responsible for making their own arrangements for getting to Portugal and getting to Évora. If you need advice on making travel arrangements, please feel free to reach out.

Will there be scheduled events before and/or after the 3-day wedding weekend?

Answer

At this time, there are no planned events before or after the 3-day weekend. We encourage guests to explore all that Portugal has to offer on their own time and to check out the Things To Do page for information on some of our favorite spots.

Is there transportation between the hotel and the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle bus for each day of the wedding weekend departing from the Évora Olive Hotel and bringing guests back at the end of each event. At this time, there will only be one departure time so if you prefer to have some flexibility on when you arrive to the event and/or when you return to the hotel, we recommend taking a taxi or having a rental car.

Is there a hotel dedicated to wedding guests?

Answer

Yes, please refer to the Travel section for hotel and booking information (with discount). Guests have the option of staying at either Cicioso Boutique Hotel, Évora Olive Hotel, or Évora O Cante Hotel. Keep in mind that, at this time, the shuttle bus departing to and from each wedding event will be closer to Cicioso and Évora Olive Hotel (these 2 hotels are very close to each other, less than 100m).

Is there a wedding gift registry? Are wedding gifts required?

Answer

Yes, there is a wedding gift registry. Please refer to the Registry section. No, wedding gifts are not required, but always appreciated.

Question

When do we need to RSVP by and do we need to RSVP for each wedding event?

Answer

Please RSVP online through this website by Tuesday, 30-Jun, using the RSVP section. Each attending guest must RSVP for each wedding event (welcome drinks, wedding day, and recovery brunch) and indicate whether they will be using the shuttle bus.
