Our love story started the day that I walked past her training room. Without getting a good look at her, I heard a voice say "hey!". I turned back to see...there she was! She asked for my name and I walked off without asking for hers, so I went back and asked. (Was I that nervous!?) I'm a big believer in "if it's meant to be, we'll cross paths again." Weeks passed and it was the first football game of the season. It was poring down raining that Friday night. Man, it's just something about that rain! We somehow both got assigned tasks we wouldn't normally do, which led to us bumping into each other at the same location. We sat and talked for a while without a care in the world of what was going on on the outside.. Over the next few months, we spent hours talking on the phone, going on dates and getting to know each other more and more. From then it was history and now here we are!

The day we got engaged was one of the best days of our lives. I had been planning it for a while. I had been telling her that we should take Fall pictures just because. So, the time comes around and we took pictures at the Tyler Rose Garden. She had no clue! From there, we decided to go to the Kiepersol Winery for wine tasting and tour. I was nervous about how everything would fall into place at the right time. During the tour, with all the messages coming through to make sure everything would be perfect, I knew the time would soon come! I told her I needed to use the restroom, instead I went to get a microphone installed inside my shirt. Everything was finally falling into place for this moment. As we walked up the hill hand in hand, my nieces popped up and said "everybody's here." With a shocked and confused look on her face the tour guide brought us through the double doors with an overlook of the vineyards. The doors opened and both of our families were standing there waiting on us. Love filled the room! It was an amazing surprise, surrounded by our families that soon would become one big family, but once she saw her family she already knew what was about to take place. With tears falling down her face, I then got down on one knee. This moment will never get old and we are so elated to start this journey as one, and even more to be able to share this next chapter of our lives with you!
