Back in 8th grade, Bailey had transferred schools from Royal City. The moment he showed up almost every girl in school had a crush on him; the "mysterious quiet" boy who wore a signature nirvana shirt and dark sweatshirt most days. We had few interactions, such as him poking my leg trough a hole I had in my jeans in math class. By end of the school year all the girls with their quiet boy crushes ceased, and fate had brought me and him together through a mutual friend that summer. He was my first kiss, down under a tree at my hometown lake. We dated for a while but eventually drifted apart. High school comes around and Bailey transfers back to Royal for the first few years of high school, so any interaction we had was minimized to liking each others social media posts. I didn't see him till senior year. Once transferred back Senior year, every morning he'd walk the halls and i'd make it a point to bug him and take out his earbuds and force a "good morning" greeting on him. It made a lasting impression because that same late spring we found ourselves kissing at a sand dune party. We drifted once again until I invited him to a stage set in the summer of 2020. I was nervous, but after seeing each other for a while he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said yes of course. 10 months later he proposes to me on one knee in his underwear, I sobbed and said yes... of course! Things have been insane for the both of us, especially sense we come from two totally different privileged lives. Finding each other again was not easy, but now we never have to let go again.
