Things To Do

East Nashville

Our Friday night welcome party will be in East Nashville. There are so many lovely places to get dinner in the neighborhood but here are a few recommendations close to the party. For something casual, stand in line and grab tacos and queso at Red Headed Stranger (a recently Michelin-recognized Bib Gourmand restaurant). Folk, where Alex and Micah had their first date, is a great place to grab some elevated pizza and appetizers. It's a popular spot so grab a reservation early! If you're looking for a burger and beer try Pharmacy Burger (a short drive away) which has an awesome beer garden in the back if the weather is nice!

Centennial Park

2500 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203

Beautiful park near Vanderbilt, home to the Parthenon replica. Wander around the park and then make your way over to Vanderbilt to enjoy the arboretum and explore where Micah went to undergrad!

Shelby Bottoms Park

1900 Davidson Street, Nashville, TN 37206

Located just 5 minutes from Micah's house in East Nashville, this is our favorite park to wander around. Rent bikes, go for a run, or do a short loop around the pond! Stop by Frothy Monkey or Mama Bread for a coffee/pastry before or after your walk!

12th South Neighborhood

3021 Lealand Lane, Nashville, TN 37204

Explore Alex's neck of the woods by starting at Sevier Park and then walking up and down 12th South for shopping and bites. Pop in Fast Times (in Buck Mason) for Alex's favorite cup of coffee.

Hillsboro Village

1705 21st Ave South, Nashville, TN 37212

Another great street for window shopping and food! We love Greenery Co for a casual lunch or Fido for a cafe feel. Pancake Pantry is a breakfast staple but get up early or be willing to wait in a long line!
