It’s happening!

DJ was working at Western Farm Center in Santa Rosa when he saw an old friend’s sister walking through the parking lot with two other women and naturally jumped at the opportunity to avoid work for a couple of minutes. As he approached her to say hello, he was taken aback by the green eyes of her roommate, coupled with her long, black hair. She was truly stunning. They were looking for a pet bunny, and he was now looking for any reason to continue “helping” the customers. The Farm was fresh out of rabbits, so they left. He quickly went to his friend who knew of Micaela, and tried to milk any information he could out of him about her; it was to little avail. So he sulked back to the warehouse dock to continue working with her face still fresh in his mind. Fast forward a few months later, DJ was swiping left and right on a dating website when he came across an all too familiar face, it was Micaela. He looked through her pictures still in awe and held his breath as he swiped right and waited for a “You’ve got a match” notification… but it didn’t come. It was a few days later that he got what he had been waiting for, and he jumped at the chance to message her. DJ and Micaela made plans to meet at a dive bar. He ordered a Corona and her a Vodka-Cran. They stayed about an hour and then left to go sit at a nearby park where they listened to the entire Sam Smith album and talked until the early morning before saying goodbye. From that night on, DJ and Micaela have been best friends, staying up late listening to music and enjoying beer and vodka-crans together.

We know times are difficult right now, and we appreciate your support. Our reception will be hosted entirely outdoors and our ceremony will be hosted indoors, with plenty of space for social distancing for those who prefer. We recognize not everyone will feel comfortable being a guest at our wedding and we would like to extend our love and understanding to those unable to attend.
