So a few months into our relationship we started a scrapbook to hold all of our memories together in a meaningful book. We were able to get working on a few pages, but up to this day it still isn't near completion. In September of 2016, Austin made me upset for reasons that now I can't even remember but I know that at the time I was a little ball of upset Micaela. It turns out that during that day, Austin was out shopping for an engagement ring that would fit my unique tastes. So imagine, I'm at home all upset at my loving boyfriend who despite knowing I was angry with him, still managed to find and purchase an engagement ring. The next day he finally showed up at my house to explain why he had ignored me for so long. He sat me down on the couch and pulled out our scrapbook that we had started. I watched curiously as he turned to a page with an orange background. Then he got down on the floor in front of me and showed the scrapbook page to me along with a little black box that held the engagement ring. He had spent hours the night before creating a scrapbook page just to ask me to marry him. It was the sweetest thing I had ever seen in my life. Although at the time I couldn't cry because I had been so upset the night before, I was filled with joy. And that my friends is how my loving Austin proposed to me while I was sitting on the couch with puffy eyes wearing my TAMIU sweatpants.

We are so excited to share this amazing milestone in our lives with all of our wonderful friends and family! We sincerely hope that everyone enjoys their time at our wedding and the wonderful Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History.
