I first met Micaela on November 9th, 1995 when we were forced to be roommates. We spent the next 18 years bonding over blue eye shadow, late night Steak 'n Shake runs and playing games. Although we are a little older and there is a little less blue eye shadow, we still enjoy spending time together. Fitness is our passion and we love working out, cooking and testing out new brunch spots. Micaela goes above and beyond to care for everyone and I love how passionate she is. She is my best friend and I am so lucky to also be able to call her my sister.

We met studying abroad in Chile in college and bonded over our love for Despacito, chisme and completos. Over the years our friendship has evolved and grown stronger as we traded our South American adventures for traveling cross country to help with house projects, weddings and adulting. We traded pisco sours for espresso martinis but never gave up the chisme!

Gabby remembers the start of her friendship with Micaela (to her, “Mica”) on a late night bus ride in Viña del Mar, Chile, when she was captivated by the ease with which Mica switched between Spanish and English while never faltering in humor nor kindness. Mica hasn’t been able to get rid of her since, and Gabby can’t wait to stand by the beautiful couple on their special day!
