When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding and reception will take place at Eagle's Ledge! The wedding will begin at 4:30PM with cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to follow.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We’re asking our guests to dress in formal/semi-formal attire. We want you to look and feel your best! The ceremony will be outdoors, so please plan for the summer weather. Please, no jeans.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras put away during our ceremony. We want everyone to be present with us in the moment! We’ll have an amazing photographer Jen capturing the day! We promise to share the photos with you afterward.

Can I bring my children?

Our wedding will be a child-free event. We appreciate you making arrangements so that you can relax and enjoy the celebration with us!

Are there any accommodations nearby?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ve reserved a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Ames, just a short drive from our venue. Another great option is the Sleep Inn & Suites Ames near ISU Campus next door. Check out the "Travel" section on our website for booking details and other nearby options.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure you’re seated and ready. We’ll start promptly and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
