Miami and Seth first met in the sixth grade where Miami developed an early admiration for Seth. After that school year, Seth returned to his hometown and the two went their separate ways. They reconnected during their sophomore year of high school when their friend groups merged, allowing them to spend more time together. As junior prom approached, Miami asked Seth to be her date, and he gladly accepted. This marked the beginning of a deeper connection, and on February 23, 2019, they officially began their relationship. They went on to complete high school and graduate together. When it came time for college, Miami moved to Moorhead, Minnesota, to pursue her education. Shortly after, Seth relocated to the area for work. He later accepted a job offer and began his schooling at NDSCS. During this time, they shared their first apartment, building a life together through school, work, and many memorable experiences in the Fargo–Moorhead area. Both eventually graduated and continued growing their family with their two cats, Shadow and Kia. On November 14, 2024, during a trip to Eugene, Oregon, Seth proposed to Miami, and she happily accepted. Now, after one year of engagement and seven years together and are excited to continue building their life as a couple. They look forward to celebrating their love with all who have supported them along the way.
