FAQs

The Wedding Website of Miah Newell and Joshua Haines
Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

All RSVPs will be taken online. If you have an issue with an online RSVP please reach out to us to help you RSVP.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVPs need to be submitted by 09/1/2025. This is 6.5 weeks before our wedding and will give us time to do our final count and seating arrangements.

Question

Do I need to RSVP if I am not attending?

Answer

We would prefer for you to let us know by selecting you cannot attend on the RSVP - this is not a requirement just a courtesy. You will be missed!

Question

What if I miss the RSVP deadline but want to attend?

Answer

If you miss the RSVP deadline you cannot attend the wedding. Catering requires an accurate and correct guest count.

Question

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

Receiving a plus one is not a guarantee. When RSVPing to the wedding on our website you will be able to select the plus one option if one has been designated to you.

Question

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us! Thank you for understanding and helping us make this day special.

Question

Is there parking at your wedding venue?

Answer

There is plenty of on-site parking in a lot right next to the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We would like everyone to arrive for the ceremony 15-20 minutes before the ceremony is set to start. If you arrive later than the ceremony time we respectfully ask that you wait outside and not enter in the middle of the ceremony. We want to prevent any distractions during this special time. You can arrive a little earlier than 20 minutes but try not to show up too early as the place will be bustling with staff setting up!

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at the Cracker Factory.

Question

Is your wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are held in the same location and indoors. Some photos may be taken outside and there is a small outdoor patio accessible to guests.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Black tie is optional if you feel like getting extra fancy! We kindly ask that you skip the t-shirts, shorts, and white dresses so the couple (especially the bride!) can stand out on our big day. Thank you for celebrating with style!

Question

Is your wedding handicap accessible?

Answer

There is a handicap accessible elevator onsite.

Question

Will there be a gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There won’t be a gap—just a smooth transition into cocktail hour! After the ceremony, enjoy appetizers, drinks, and some fun games while we take a few photos. Everything is taking place in one open-concept space, so there’s no need to worry about moving locations or missing a moment of the celebration.

Question

What type of food will be at the wedding?

Answer

We are having a station style wedding. There will be numerous options - something for everyone!

Question

Will there be options for people with dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want to be inclusive of everyone attending our wedding. Please reach out to us personally if you have specific restrictions when it comes to dietary needs and allergies. There will be no peanuts/treenuts at the wedding and select gluten free options.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during our unplugged ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present with us in the moment—no screens, just love! We’ve hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture all the special memories for you to enjoy later. You’re welcome to take photos during cocktail hour and the reception, and we’ll also have a Photo Booth set up for some fun snapshots with friends and family. Thank you for helping us create an intimate and meaningful ceremony experience!

Question

What if I have questions leading up to the wedding?

Answer

We’re more than happy to answer any questions you may have in the months leading up to the big day—feel free to reach out! However, during the week of the wedding (and especially the day of), we kindly ask that you direct any questions to the parents of the bride or groom, the maid of honor, or the best man. This will help us stay present and stress-free as we celebrate with all of you. Thank you for understanding!
