We’re getting married!

Who knew we would meet our soulmate at Best Buy? Our first interaction with each other was helping a customer buy a stereo, safe to say it wouldn't be the last time we would disagree on what music to play :) A week later Xavier came in on his day off to buy the recently released J. Cole CD and Mia insisted on opening a register just to be able to talk to him again... later that night Xavier came back in for her number. We really got to know each other during countless early morning shifts during the holiday season. Sitting in the back of the Elyria Best Buy (RIP), chatting and getting to know each other..

Mia graduated from the University of Toledo on May 18th, 2019. During the commencement ceremony Xavier asked Lynn and Scottie to help him plan an engagement. He had bought the ring 7 months ago and was just waiting for the perfect moment. The first plan was to do it on Mia's family vacation, but Xavier knew family means everything to Mia. Mia's sister, Lisa, wouldn't have been on vacation to experience the engagement with her. So, Mia's graduation party it was. The plan didn't really come together until about 10 minutes before Xavier got down on one knee. Lynn made a speech, thanking everyone for coming and expressing how proud she was of Mia and everything she had accomplished. Though, Lynn couldn't speak for Xavier. Xavier, in front of all their friends and family, got down on one knee to ask Mia to marry her...
