Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Annie Waldron

Maid of Honor

Annie is my younger sister and my absolute best friend! She's quite literally been there through it all, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't remember life without her, and she is my closest companion in every way. From playing with Barbies and American Girl Dolls, singing to country music in the car, to running into each other on Hope's campus, or simply just enjoying each other's company, I'm so glad I have her as my sister. Annie is loyal, compassionate, and the funniest person I know! She's my favorite person and I'm so blessed to call her my sister!

Joe Brennan

Best Man

I first met Joe at Young Life Camp service weekend when we were the only two volunteers to serve morning breakfast. A few years later we realized both of us would attend Hope College, became Freshman Year roommates, and then went full circle our Senior Year at the Hilltop House. Over the years Joe and I had our fair share of shenanigans, including worship nights on the beach and building a nighttime snowman on the roof of the dining hall. Our late night conversations and real talks have forever shaped my understanding of what it means to be and live as a true man of God.

Megan Raisch-Jenkins

Bridesmaid

Megan and I met freshman year of college when we became roommates. We quickly became best friends and lived together 3 out of our 4 years at Hope! I can't imagine my college experience without her! Some of my favorite memories with Megan include late night "roommate chats," our annual weekends in Chicago, and getting sushi together. Megan is kind, loyal, and a true and faithful friend. She has helped shape my young adult years and taught me so much about life and God's love for the earth and for His people. I'm so lucky to call her my best friend.

Sam Kokmeyer

Groomsman

College roommate and friend of the Groom

Sarah Harman

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I met when we were in second grade. Our sisters (6 girls when we're all together!) and parents became close and we haven't looked back since! Sarah is the type of person who gets along with anyone. She's kind, funny, and one of the smartest people I know. We've had so many amazing memories together: days spent on Little Fish Lake with our families, eating lunch together everyday during high school, and even meeting up in Seattle one summer! Through different colleges, states, and life stages, Sarah has been with me through it all and I can't imagine our day without her!

Luke Van Hout

Groomsman

College friend of the Groom

Hannah Kukulski

Bridesmaid

Hannah is my youngest cousin and I can't imagine life without her! As kids, we always pretended she was our sister, and we wanted people to think the three of us were triplets! When I think of Hannah, I think of all of our amazing times Up North fishing, swimming in Lake Millecoquin, and roasting s'mores at the bonfire. I'm so excited that she's able to stand with me on this special day and create more incredible memories with me.

AJ Schena

Groomsman

I met AJ alongside Joe over dinner at HopCat. The two were hometown friends. Joe needed some help convincing AJ how much he would miss out by not attending Hope, so he invited me along to close the deal. Although I doubt I had much sway on AJ’s decision, the two of us shared a real connection over our time at Hope. It’s no shock AJ began dating Mia’s younger sister, Annie, as they’re both such first-rate people. Since then, the four of us have grown incredibly close. Never turn down a free burger when offered…you might get a brother-in-law as well.
