We met at Terry's favorite watering hole....Buffalo Wild Wings in Speedway. :) He was sitting alone at the bar...it was an early Saturday afternoon, and fairly crowded...so I chose to sit at the end of the bar, next to Terry. We started with light conversation, but things quickly took a turn when I offered him some of my fresh pretzel bites, and he declined?? I was slightly offended that he rejected my kind gesture....the nerve of him right?? So I attempted to guilt him into taking some of my appetizer again...he still wouldn't budge. I thought to myself, I have a real - live wire on my hands, and that's what intrigued me. We laughed a lot at from that point, because we realized our personalities quickly clicked on like a light switch. Eventually I had to leave, but I enjoyed my time with Terry, and wanted to keep in touch, and get to know him further...so I asked for his number. He pulled his phone out and I tried to call him, but he accidentally gave me the wrong number. Of course I gave him grief for that mishap. He then gave me the correct number, I called so he would also have my number, and off I went. I sent a text after I left that day, and a week later we went on our first official date. I had a feeling when I saw my dad at O'Charlies on our first date, this was going to be a roller coaster ride I'd enjoy, and I've been strapped in tight ever since. :)
