Our first date seemed like a scene from a Hallmark movie. We enjoyed each other's time as we adventured around a local pumpkin patch. We enjoyed seeing all of the different animals as we rode around the farm on a hayride. Ate amazing buttered corn, kettle-cooked popcorn, and the sweetest funnel cake money can buy. After we picked out a couple of pumpkins we headed back home to enjoy seasonal movies, pumpkin painting, a delicious meal, and drinks. The unthinkable feelings that we had for each other were shown through smiles and plenty of laughter.
It was a warm summer evening on the beaches of Cancun, Mexico. We booked a spectacular, romantic dinner on the beach. As the sun bled down below the horizon, I dropped to a knee. Holding back tears, I asked Mia if I could have the honor of standing by her side for the rest of our lives through marriage. In disbelief at the moment, Mia shook her head yes. We enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime dinner on the beach and smiled ear to ear the rest of the evening knowing that we would be going through this journey of life together.
