Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if you may bring a guest. If a guest is not displayed on your invitation unfortunately we cannot accommodate one due to venue capacity limitations. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

There is ample parking at Flying Caballos for guests. You may leave your car overnight, however, it must be retrieved by the following day at 10 am. We also request that you utilize ride-shares if necessary.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire. We will be on grass for the ceremony, as well as walking down a set of stairs to get to the reception area, so your comfiest shoe option may be best! SLO is also known to drop in temperature at night, so please be sure to bring a shawl or jacket.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, this will be an adult-only event with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We request you RSVP by May 22nd, 2023. If you have any issues RSVPing by that date, feel free to reach out to either Mia or Osama.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We are requesting that guests RSVP on our website. How To RSVP: 1. Visit the RSVP page on this website or scan the QR code on your invitation. 2. Enter your first and last name. You will then see all guests in your group and are able to RSVP for them. 3. RSVP for each guest attending. The only additional information we are requesting is if anyone in your party is vegan/vegetarian.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Our wedding is taking place in July in sunny San Luis Obispo, California. We are expecting wonderful weather in the mid to high 70s and cool temperatures around the 50s later in the evening.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors. Dancing will be indoors. We suggest you bring a jacket or light sweater, as San Luis Obispo temperatures can drop quickly once the sun goes down!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We will have a no cellphones ceremony, and kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during that time. Our incredible photographer will have it covered, and we want you to just enjoy! Outside of the ceremony, we would love for guests to take photos of the memorable evening.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:00pm- 4:25 pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm so please be sure to arrive on time!

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:00 pm.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have many hotel recommendations, as well as a discount code for the La Quinta in San Luis Obispo. Please visit the travel portion of our wedding website for all the information!

Question

If I have a food allergy, who can I reach out to?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to Mia or Osama via text or email (miaandsamgetmarried@gmail.com) if you have any allergies or dietary considerations. We are having a buffet dinner where we hope to have options for everyone, but are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Question

If I fly to San Luis Obispo, do I need to rent a car.

Answer

While SLO has plenty of ride shares (Uber, Lyft, etc), we would recommend you rent a car if you plan to fly. The city is very spread out with so much to see, and a car would make it much easier to enjoy everything this place has to offer!
