When and where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place on June 5, 2026 at Avonlea Farms in Mineral, VA. Please see the Schedule page for more details.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Kindly plan to arrive between 4:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., as entry will NOT be permitted after 5:15 p.m.

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by a semi-indoor reception. In the event of inclement weather, alternate arrangements will be in place.

What should I wear?

Answer

Black-Tie Elegance: Black tuxes and gowns are encouraged, and suits and cocktail dresses are warmly welcome. Black elegance is the preferred palette for the evening.

Can I bring a guest (plus one)?

Answer

Our celebration is limited to invited guests who have RSVP'd. Please refer to your invitation for details regarding guests or plus-ones.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Our celebration is an ADULTS-ONLY AFFAIR. All guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be free self-parking in a designated area on the grounds of Avonlea Farms.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, a complimentary shuttle will be provided between the Virginia Center Crossing Hotel and Avonlea Farms. Departure and return times will be posted on the Travel page by May 15, 2026. Reservations are required by May 1, 2026.

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Absolutely! Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, followed by a formal plated dinner featuring three entrée options. Kindly pre-select your preferred entrée to help us ensure a seamless dining experience, and please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. To preserve the privacy & intimacy of our ceremony, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos so our professional photographer and videographer can capture every special moment. Guests are welcome to take photos after the wedding ceremony.

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by May 5, 2026. Your prompt reply ensures we can properly plan catering, seating, and transportation. RSVPs are mandatory, and responses received after May 15, 2026 cannot be accommodated.

Answer

Yes, a wedding registry has been created for your convenience and can be found on our Registry page. Additionally, we have a Honeyfund for those who would like to help us celebrate with experiences during our travels.
