Our Story
Ramy and Mia had their first date at The Franklin Bar in center city, while they were both in grad school in Philadelphia. He was studying Finance and she was studying Education. They realized they had both recently moved to Philly, from Barcelona, Spain. Ramy, born in Egypt and grew up in Qatar, attended Penn State and then moved to Barcelona to continue studying and playing tennis from 2014-2018. Mia, born and raised in Philly, moved to Barcelona after graduating from Temple, to teach English from 2016-2018. They bonded over their experiences living in Spain, and always joke around saying they were probably on the same subway car or at the same restaurant and had no idea. They realized they had some friends in common due to Ramy's tennis connections and the rest is history :)
