Our story began in the sweetest of places, kindergarten at Stone School in Mrs. D’Augustino’s class. From the very beginning, we grew up side by side, always friends, and always a part of each other’s world. Through the years, we found ourselves drawn closer, sharing laughter, memories, and attending both Junior and Senior prom together. After college, fate stepped in on an ordinary night at a Bulls game. A playful bet was made: one of us would finally watch Harry Potter, and the other would give Game of Thrones a chance. One of us, Mia, is still working on holding up her end of the deal. That simple promise turned into endless nights of laughter, conversations that stretched until morning, and the realization that what had always been friendship was meant to be so much more.
