Question

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

We're so excited to be tying the knot in an intimate elopement, just the two of us. While our ceremony will be a private moment, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you at our elopement celebration!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:30 p.m.! The boat will begin boarding at 4:30 and will set sail at 5:00 p.m. We don’t want to leave without you, so be sure to arrive on time—once the boat departs, late arrivals won’t be able to join the celebration!

Question

What is Yacht Chic?

Answer

Dress like you're heading to a stylish cocktail party on the water — polished but comfortable. ✅ Dressy dresses, jumpsuits, slacks, linen sets, button-downs, blazers, dressy sandals or loafers 🚫 No jeans or shorts, please Think summer cocktail vibes with a coastal twist!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Please park at 13977 Palawan Way Marina del Rey, CA 90292. Parking is $1.50 / hour with a maximum of $10 / day. This is an L.A. County public lot, so there should be plenty of spots available!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

July in Marina del Rey typically brings beautiful, comfortable weather with sunny skies and mild temperatures during the day. However, as soon as the sun goes down, the breeze on the water can make it feel chilly—so don’t forget to bring a light jacket or wrap to stay cozy after sunset!

Question

What if I get seasick?

Answer

No need to worry! The boat will remain within the calm waters of the Marina del Rey harbor and will be moving slowly throughout the evening. It’s a smooth ride, and most guests don’t even notice we’re on the water. But if you're extra sensitive, feel free to bring motion sickness remedies just in case—though we don’t think you’ll need them!
