Every love story has a beginning, and ours started at a volunteering toy drive for low-income families. What began as a simple friendly encounter quickly turned into something more. We easily fell into a comfortable conversation that flowed as if we had known each other for years. There was never a moment of awkwardness or uncertainty; talking to each other felt natural from the very beginning. Between organizing toys, helping families find gifts for their children, and sharing small laughs throughout the day, we found ourselves constantly drawn back to one another. As the hours passed, we started looking for reasons to stay close. Whether it was carrying donations, sorting toys, or helping the same families, we somehow always ended up side by side. Every conversation seemed to reveal another thing we had in common, and every smile made it a little harder to look away. What was meant to be a few days of volunteering quickly became the highlight of our holiday season. Without either of us realizing it at first, our feelings began to grow. The way he would always appear whenever I needed help and the way I found myself searching for him in a crowded room made it obvious that something special was happening. There was a comfort between us that felt rare, as though we had known each other long before we met. With every shared joke, every lingering conversation, and every moment spent together, we were slowly falling for each other. What started among shelves of donated toys and acts of kindness became the foundation of something far greater than either of us could have imagined. The connection we found during those few days continued to grow through the years, turning friendship into love and love into a future we wanted to share together. Looking back, it's amazing to think that a simple volunteer event brought us to where we are today. The toy drive was only the beginning of our story—a story that led to a proposal, an engagement filled with excitement for the future, and now a wedding where we promise to spend the rest of our lives together. The same two people who met while helping families create Christmas memories are now creating a lifetime of memories of their own.
