This is the international airport in Tirana, Albania. It is about 20-30 minutes to the city center by taxi.

Reliable taxi services

The easiest way to get around Tirana is either by foot or by taxi. Taxis are best ordered through WhatsApp, which we highly recommend downloading prior to your visit. The most reliable taxis are: Green Taxi +355 69 800 2001 Merr Taxi +355 67 400 6610 Lux Taxi ‪+355 67 702 3333‬ You can message them and tell them where you are, where you need a taxi to, and inquire about the price. If you agree to the price, send your location on WhatsApp and the taxi will come get you. There are also street taxis all over Tirana, but the pricing is more variable. Taxis will accept euros or Albanian lek.
