Where is the ceremony held? Is the reception at the same venue?

Answer

While the ceremony is an intimate gathering primarily for close friends and family, all invited guests are warmly welcome to attend. It will be held at the Iglesia Ni Cristo chapel, in San Jose, Tacloban City. The reception will follow at Cancabato Bay Sunset, just about 1 mile from the church.

Are there religious customs I should know during the ceremony?

Answer

INC weddings are considered a special worship service. Guests are asked to arrive on time, as the ceremony will start promptly. Please remain quiet and respectful to maintain the solemnity of the occasion, and ensure that cellphones are turned off or set to silent. Male and female seating is separate, and all guests are expected to observe the orderliness and appropriate dress code inside the church.

What time should I arrive?

Kindly arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time for seating before the ceremony begins at 3:00 PM. The reception will begin at 5:00 PM with Social Hour—please join us at that time to start the celebration.

Dinner will begin at 6:00 PM, following Social Hour.

Will there be drinks at the reception?

Answer

Guests can enjoy mocktails from our mobile bar. Coffee and coolers will also be available. Kindly note that alcoholic beverages will not be served during dinner.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation.

Are gifts required? Is cash preferred?

We are simply grateful to celebrate with you. While gifts are not required, any gift in any form will be sincerely appreciated.
