Barnyard Chic - Celebrate in the Hues of Fall We invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of autumn by donning your most cherished fall shades. Picture a palette inspired by the season's warmth - think rich oranges, deep reds, golden yellows, and earthy browns. Our dress code encourages a blend of comfort and style, perfectly suited for an array of outdoor festivities, from lawn games under the open sky to marshmallow toasting by the fire, capped off with a whirl of joy on the dance floor. We envision our guests in chic semi-formal or cocktail attire that echoes the rustic elegance of barnyard chic. To align with the theme, we kindly request that jeans, shorts, flannels, hoodies, and overly short dresses are saved for another occasion. For our ladies, we suggest considering footwear that marries comfort with style, such as flats or wedges, to navigate the grassy terrains with ease. And given the whimsical nature of October's climate, layering is your best strategy to ensure warmth or coolness as needed. Join us in embracing the fall's enchanting allure, dressing in a way that complements the rustic charm and seasonal splendor of our special day.

Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens Located in the historic town of Intercourse, in Lancaster Pennsylvania GPS Address: 3716 East Newport Road, Gordonville PA 17529 The ceremony will be held within their main ceremony barn, with cocktail hour just outside in a picturesque garden. The reception will be held on the same premises, in the barn "next door" complete with a courtyard and lounge area where you can play a variety of lawn games, relax with a drink in the lounge, or enjoy a seat by a courtyard fire. Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens has a rich history dating back to the 1700s when homesteaders purchased the land to farm and raise their families. Working together as a community and fueled by an innovative spirit, the homesteaders built the Grand Barn in the 1800s and the Tobacco Barn in the 1900s and grew crops on the surrounding land. The craftsmanship in the two barns is simply remarkable so it was only fitting to preserve the integrity of the barns as historic buildings when the property was open for weddings in 2014. Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens proudly stands as the only historically preserved wedding venue in the tri-state area.
Our special day will unfold within the rustic charm of barns that provide shelter, ensuring we're rainproof. However, it's important to note that these spaces do not offer heating or air conditioning. With the whimsical nature of October's weather, which can surprise us with warmth or a chill, we recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable throughout the celebration. Please keep an eye on the forecast and consider bringing an umbrella, as there will be moments when you'll need to move outdoors, especially as you wander between the ceremony and reception barns. The journey will take you through the enchanting gardens, so we advise choosing footwear that is both stylish and practical for navigating the soft lawn with ease. Your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities as we come together to celebrate this momentous occasion.
To ensure a smooth start to our celebrations, we kindly ask that you plan to arrive at least thirty minutes prior to the ceremony's commencement. This window of time is designed to allow all our guests to find their seats comfortably and be ready for the ceremony to begin as planned. Your punctuality will help us kick off the festivities on time and ensure that no moment of this special day is missed. Thank you for your cooperation and looking forward to celebrating together!
There is plenty of parking at the venue and a neighboring lot.
