We met at a dinner with mutual friends. Jesus skipped Muay Thai training to attend because he figured, “he could eat” that day, and hadn’t seen everyone in a while. While I had a hard day at work and my lash tech just rescheduled our appointment that evening. I figured, “I could eat” as well, and was off to the races. I got to the restaurant before Jesus and watched him walk in. I didn’t recognize him, but was praying he didn’t come sit at our table. Sure enough… he did. You could say love at first sight? We didn’t talk that night, and I didn’t think I would see him again. But I had the slightest hope that I would. Little did I know, he felt the same way. Through some digging, and speaking with friends, Jesus found a way to get into contact with me, and the rest is history. During the beginning of our relationship and recounting memories, we came to find out about us briefly meeting in 2021. It was an awkward “hi” and handshake, only for our story to be continued two years later. Can you say invisible string theory? We most certainly do.
