We're getting married!

We met in elementary school. We we were in different classes, but had the same group of friends. We remained friends throughout middle school and high school.

It was the beginning if senior year high school. Jared decided it was time to make a move. We went to homecoming together. We decided to hang out more and sparks were in the air! A couple of months later we started dating.

We decided to go on our annual Color Tour trip up north, but this time we went with friends. We drove 2 and a half hours to Interlochen, Michigan and camped for a night. The next day we decided to drive on M 119 that starts in Petoskey and ends in Mackinaw City. It was a perfect day for a drive to see the different colors of the leaves. We stopped in Cross Village and went to the Legs Inn restaurant. It was pretty busy so we just went to the outdoor garden that had a view of Lake Michigan. We were standing on the edge of the grass admiring the view of the lake when Jared began to tell he wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I looked over at him and he was down on one knee. I said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
