How far is Bar Harbor ( Acadia National Park) from Portland?

Acadia national Park is 3 hours from Portland and you’ll need a rental car to get there. There is Beautiful foliage this time of year and definitely worth the drive if you have a few extra days to enjoy Maine!

Can I bring my kids?

Sadly, we ask that you leave children at home and enjoy the night off with us!

What is the wedding attire? Will it be cold in Maine?

Answer

It will be comfortable in the mid 70s (fingers crossed). The reception will be held outside with dancing on the grass, choose shoes accordingly. It might get chilly by the end of the night from the ocean breeze, you may want to bring a sweater. Semi formal attire.

What if I miss the boat?

Answer

You will need to purchase a regular scheduled ferry ticket and catch the next boat likely missing the start of the ceremony.

How will I get off peaks island at the end of the night?

Answer

You will be able to catch any boat back to Portland. No ticket needed. Boats times are… 3:45, 5:00, 6:00, 7:45, 8:45, 9:45, 10:55, 11:55
