Chase & Mia’s story started in the summer of 2021 at Elon University. Two freshmen, both part of the Odyssey Scholars program, completely unaware they were about to meet the person who would change everything. At first, it was simple; the same friend group, shared laughs, late-night hangs, and spontaneous trips. They built a friendship that felt easy, natural, and just the beginning of something more. As sophomore year rolled around, something shifted. They took a school trip to Atlanta for Spring Break where, for the first time, it was just them. More conversations, more laughs, and a spark neither of them could ignore. Back at Elon, that spark turned into something undeniable. They started spending more time together, finding any excuse to talk or hang out. What started as a simple coffee date quickly turned into something neither of them ever wanted to end. From that moment on, they were inseparable. College became a collection of shared memories: studying abroad in Italy and exploring the world side by side, cheering each other on at dance performances and basketball games, celebrating holidays together, and growing. Not just as individuals, but as a team. They were there for it all. Graduation brought one of their toughest moments; having to say goodbye as Mia returned to Atlanta and Chase to Louisiana. But even distance couldn’t slow them down! Their love grew stronger through late-night calls after long days, cozy dinner-and-movie nights from afar, and the excitement of planning their next weekend together. And then, Chase brought their story full circle. At the Strand Theatre in Georgia, the place where Mia grew up dancing, where so many of her dreams began, Chase asked the most important question. And of course, she said yes! Now, they’re counting down the days until they never have to say goodbye again. From college classrooms, to countless flights, and cross-country calls. Their story has been full of adventure, growth, and love at every step. As they look ahead, one thing is certain; the best part of their journey is still to come… together!
