Cam said that he remembers the first day he saw Mia in the schools office and it was love at first sight. Now, Mia cannot remember that day but she remembers how nice Cam was to her. He always drove her to the train and even into Manhattan, which is quite a journey from East NY, Brooklyn. When Mia started working in Manhattan her and Cam lost touch. This was in 2009. Fast forward, Cam emailed Mia on September 22, 2022 after being out of touch for 13 years. She was happy to see his email because she had really fond memories of him being so nice and sweet. She emailed him back on September 23rd but then went away to Galveston for the weekend and forgot to check for his response. Her bestie then reminded her to reach out to him. One week later, approx 10/1 Mia saw that Cam asked her to call or text him so she texted him. Then he asked her to coffee or tea and she told him that she would not be in NYC until November. Her bestie made her say that if he is ever in Houston to let her know. So Cam said he will fly out the following weekend. Needless to say, Mia was intrigued and impressed at the same time. Cam and Mia finally spoke on the phone on 10/7 and Mia got to asking questions… she became more intrigued. Cam came to Houston on 10/8 and they had an epic first date for the whole weekend. They went to dinner, took a walk, had ice cream and then on Sunday they went to Galveston for brunch, beach and a couples massage. Then they went to breakfast on Monday before Cam flew back to NY. Everything just flowed smoothly and Cam asked Mia to be his girlfriend :-) They both enjoy spending time in the sun at the beach, eating all types of food, and traveling the world.
