Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There will be shuttle buses leaving from Abbey Court promptly at 2 PM and running every 15 minutes to Ashley Park. If you are staying at Ashley Park for the weekend, please bring your suitcases onto the shuttle. You will be able to check in prior to the 3.30 PM ceremony.

Question

Will you have transportation to Welcome Drinks & the BBQ as well?

Answer

Yes! For Welcome Drinks: There will be buses leaving Abbey Court Hotel at 5.30 PM to bring guests to Larkins Pub. There will also be transportation back to Abbey Court Hotel. For the BBQ: There will be buses leaving Abbey Court Hotel at 1 PM to bring people to Ashley Park for the day. There will also be transportation back to Abbey Court for anyone who needs it.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal (think cocktail dresses and jumpsuits, suits and ties, etc). There will be some walking on grass, so ladies: we would recommend block heels or wedges. For Welcome Drinks & the BBQ, smart/chic casual is the way to go (think 2 piece outfits, jumpsuits, jeans and a sports coat, chinos and a shirt etc).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It's tough to predict the weather, but our best guess is that it will be in the mid 50's, low 60's. Given that it's in Ireland, expect a light mist once or twice during the day.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Guest parking is behind the pavilion (just follow the signs). The front of the Main House is drop off only, no parking.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! We will have a number of hired babysitters on site to watch children if you want to have some adult time.

Question

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We are asking all guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted prior to the wedding. Any guests not vaccinated will need to be in receipt of a negative COVID test prior to attending.

Question

What are current COVID guidelines around traveling to/from Ireland?

Answer

You do not need a test to get into Ireland, but for all of our US guests, you will need a test to get back home. You can get a rapid antigen, which takes 15 mins - 1 hr for results. You can obtain this at the airport but have to schedule in advance: https://www.dublinairport.com/covid-19/pre-departure-covid-19-testing
