We love your kids, but we want this to be your night off! Disney World is a family vacation spot and your kids are more than welcome to come down with you, but for the day of the wedding babysitter arrangements will need to be made. If you have teenage kids and need some ideas for what they can do on the night of the wedding please don't hesitate to reach out! Disney does have a recommended in-room sitter service. Please visit https://kidsniteout.com/in-room-sitter/ for more information and how to book.
Nope! The ceremony and cocktail hour is being held at the Grand Floridian hotel. Although the reception is inside of Animal Kingdom, you will not need a ticket.
Yes, there will be a shuttle for the length of the wedding to take you to and from your hotel to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The only information we have as of now is that the shuttle will be going to at least the hotels on our Disney Hotel room block. More information to come regarding whether or not the shuttle will go to the other hotels, the times the shuttle will run, and where it will pick you up.
There will not be any free parking for the ceremony as the events following the ceremony are at the theme parks. You may still be able to park at the Grand Floridian Hotel for a fee but will update this FAQ as soon as we know for sure.
Unfortunately due to our limited guest list not everyone will receive a plus one. However, if you are it will be marked "and Guest" on your formal invitation.
Formal/Black-Tie Optional. Ladies, some examples are a shorter cocktail dress, a floor length gown, or pant suit. Men, some examples are a suit or tuxedo if you would like.
Nope! If you do book at a different Disney resort or go through a third party (i.e. David's Vacation Club Rentals) please just let us know your reservation number as those rooms do still count towards our room block guaranteed nights.
Although not required for attending the ceremony and reception, you can purchase them by calling (407) 827-6799 or visiting https://disneyurl.com/Weddings. By using one of these two options instead of purchasing them directly from Disney World's website you save $20 per ticket (this is overall not per day). Also look at Undercover Tourist as they will occasionally have better deals.
Staying off property can be cheaper but the nicest part about staying on Disney property is the location. You’re closer to the parks as well as everything else Disney World has to offer. You also have access to free transportation to and from the airport as well as around the parks so you won’t have to worry about renting a car or dealing with lots of Uber rides.
