We're Getting Married!

Our celebration of marriage was chosen to take place on March 22nd, which was chosen in honor of Mharla's parents' wedding anniversary. Even though vows were exchanged on March 22nd 2021, we are sharing our watch party for all to join in on May 1st.

It's no easy task to blend a family. Having 7 children between the two of us, with ages ranging from 5 to 27, is challenging and eventful. Yet, the power of our love has proven to conquer all. We have grown to love each other's children as if they were our own. Commitment, consistency, patience, understanding, and forgiveness, all have helped us get through many difficult times. The rewards are the special bonds that have been formed which will last a lifetime. We are proud of our children and we ask God to continue to bless us and give us wisdom and strength.

The Bride decided to incorporate some familiar wedding traditions including the recipe for good luck. For something Old and Borrowed, the Bride's mother lent her a vintage handkerchief that belonged to her mother with her name "Viola" embroidered on it. The wedding attire was for something New. For something Blue, the Bride's sister made her bouquet and added blue hydrangeas.
