Active Military Post Identification Requiremesnt West Point is an active duty Army Post & therefore has strict ID requirements. We are required to gather security information for each of our guests to be granted access to base. Each guest will be given a security pass that can be used for the entire wedding weekend. Parking & Driving on West PointParking & Driving on West Point

Thankfully pass only or CPA parking passes are NOT required on Saturdays so parking is first come/ first served. CEREMONY However, parking is extremely limited at the Cadet Chapel and it is situated on a hillside (which is why bus transportation is provided). RECEPTION Parking is allowed on top of Thayer Hall (which is adjacent to the West Point Club). Again, anyone can park there on a Saturday. There may also be open parking spots available nearby at Doubleday baseball field (Doubleday Road West Point, NY). DRIVING ON POST Follow all speed limit signs as MPs are active & drivers are not allowed to use their cell phones for any reason while driving on post.
