FAQs

Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

Saturday, July 25, 2026

Question

Are plus ones or children welcome?

Answer

Only if indicated on your invitation.

Question

Are there hotel room blocks available?

Answer

Yes! We have on-site hotel blocks at the Airlie, so no travel is needed after the reception unless you prefer to. Rooms are $260 per night. Please indicate whether you would like to book a room when you RSVP, and we will reach out to you with a link to book.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue. Please visit the Airlie Map page for more information about where to park.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5 PM. Please plan to arrive at The Lakeside Tent approximately 10 to 15 minutes early. Additionally, if you plan to park on-site, please allow an extra 10 minutes to walk to the ceremony site.

Question

Will the ceremony & reception be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outside at The Lakeside Tent. However, indoor restrooms will be available at The Smoke House.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Select beer and wine will be included (and Diet Coke, obviously).

Question

What should I know about travel?

Answer

The Airlie, where the reception and ceremony are located, is about an hour outside of DC (in Virginia). However, the welcome party is in downtown DC. If you plan to attend the welcome party on Friday night, flying into Reagan National Airport (DCA) would likely be the most convenient option. You can quickly get to downtown DC using the Metro, rideshares, or taxis. If you plan to attend only the ceremony and reception, Dulles International Airport (IAD) is another option, about 45 minutes from the venue. If you plan to attend the welcome party, staying at a hotel in DC on Friday night and then staying on-site at the Airlie on Saturday night may be preferable. There are also hotels near the Airlie in Warrenton, VA, if you prefer not to stay on-site but do not want to travel back to DC after the reception. You shouldn't have any trouble finding Ubers or other rideshares to take you to and from DC if you decide not to stay at the Airlie after the reception.
