San Jose International Silicon Valley's Airport

San Jose Airport is the closest airport to us and we recommend using if you are flying from out of state. Many central coast residents use this airport when traveling, we have flown out of this airport ourselves and were very impressed. This airport offers a great deal of flights and transports from the airport to parts of the central coast.

San Francisco International Airport

One other airport that is not exactly too close but used by many people is the San Francisco airport. Again, it is a bit of a travel from Monterey (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes) but does offer various flights as well.

If you have a larger party attending or just not comfortable with the hotel stay, there are various vacation rentals around the area. Monterey Airbnb's run a little higher in price, but if you are looking to spend a little less please look at neighboring towns like Marina, and Seaside. If you are looking for something with a fantastic view and a little more high end, some other areas to consider are Pacific Grove or Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

If you are planning on flying in but wanting to enjoy the wonderful area of Monterey, we encourage you to get a rental car if you are able to. We have listed an Enterprise location above, but there are other locations in Monterey and Seaside. The beauty of the Monterey area is you could be driving a few streets over and already be in another wonderful town.

Hilton Garden Inn Monterey

This hotel is in a wonderful location between the ceremony and reception area, this is the hotel we plan to be staying at but waiting on confirmation for room blocking. Once we get more information we will post to access and reserve rooms.

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course

Hyatt Regency is a very nice hotel to stay it if you are from out of town. One thing to consider when staying here is that the price is a little high but if you don't mind then this is a hotel we recommend. The best part about this hotel is that it is conveniently located near the Monterey Fairgrounds where the reception is being held.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Monterey Bay Seaside

Another great hotel is Embassy Suites, which is a little farther from all main locations of the wedding. Although, many visitors to the Monterey area tend to stay here and it has a wonderful location of Chili's next door, In-N-Out a short ways down and across the street from a Starbucks.

Holiday Inn Express at Monterey Bay

Holiday Inn is another great place to stay, which is located directly between Embassy Suites and In-N-Out. So if you have family staying at Embassy but not looking to spend as much we definitely recommend Holiday Inn.

InterContinental the Clement Monterey

Now if you are looking to enjoy your time in Monterey and take in the ocean views we recommend hotels closer to the water, which InterContinental the Clement Monterey is one to visit. We often walk by this hotel when going on dates in Cannery Row and love the location and view. Also, conveniently close to The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. (one of our favorite restaurants) and various shops and dining.

Spindrift Inn

Another wonderful Cannery Row location with a gorgeous view is the Spindrift Inn. Located closer to El Torito, one of the other favorite restaurants we listed and not too far from the shops, dining and aquarium. Also, if you are looking to sit on the beach this hotel is perfectly located to a nice beach area.

Super 8 by Wyndham Monterey/Carmel

The hotel we have selected here is a Super 8 for those who are looking for a more reasonable price, which is great if you are looking to splurge other places. Big thing to mention is that there are various other hotels down the same road this hotel is located, which the road is called Munras Ave. This road is conveniently located next to the mall with various shops, dining and a movie theater.

Uber

For those who are not looking to rent a car we definitely recommend taking an Uber to travel to the various destinations we have provided. Being in a tourist town we get a pretty good amount of Uber drivers especially for those who are looking to go out and enjoy an evening drink. Please download the app if you are looking to request an Uber ride.

Lyft

Again, for those not looking to drive we also recommend taking Lyft. There may not be as many Lyft drivers around but I still have seen several offering a ride to those traveling or spending a night out. We recommend getting the app if you are requesting a ride.
