Centennial Middle School, 2003: We meet as classmates on team 801. West Shadow Lake Dr. in Lino Lakes, 2009: Tom asks Melissa to Military Ball (and Prom) by leaving cute signs on the side of the street. "1 thing, 2 do, 3 words, 4 you, Melissa Mil Ball?" Not long after, we become facebook official and start dating. University of St. Thomas and University of Minnesota, 2009-2012: Melissa pursues a degree in biology at the Unversity of Minnesota while Tom becomes a mechanical engineer at the University of St. Thomas. St. Paul to St. Louis, and the roads in between, 2012-2018: Melissa leaves Minnesota to do some science at Washington University in St. Louis while Tom finishes up college and starts his career in St. Paul. We spent many hours traveling back and forth to keep our relationship strong. San Diego, 2018: We move back into the same city! Tom joins Melissa in San Diego.
