Where should I stay?
Answer
Please see the travel section of this website for hotel recommendations. We have a block with a limited number of rooms at The Seabird. There are several other options in the area, but we do not have a block at any of these other hotels.
Question
I am staying at The Seabird or Mission Pacific and was charged a "resort fee." What does it include?
Answer
The Mission Pacific and Seabird both have resort fees. But be aware, they include A LOT of stuff, so make sure you take full advantage! When we last checked (February 2025), here's what was included: -Premium In Room Guest Internet Access -Beach services including chairs, umbrella and cooler at Rambler, our beach service spot -Pool Toys/Floats -2 Welcome sustainable, reusable bottles of water -World Cinema in room Bluetooth -Use of Hotel Bicycles -2 Welcome Drinks per stay -2 single rides NCTD passes per stay connecting Seabird Resort to Frontwave Arena -Water Fitness Board Class -2 Hours surfboard rental -Family movies each weekend -VERVE cycling studio discounts (see front desk for details) -Access to family game room in lobby -Discounted Pilates Class from Therapy Social Fitness Studio (see Front Desk for details) -Day Pass to Climb at Vital Climbing Gym; shoes and chalk included -Discounted tickets to Oceanside Museum of Art and The California Surf Museum (see Front Desk for details)

What will the weather be like?
Answer
San Diego is temperate year round (that's why we love it), but it can get cool near the coast. The ceremony will be outdoors so be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater just in case.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?
Answer
The attire for the wedding is cocktail. Remember some parts of the wedding will be outdoors so be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting, cocktail hour will be both indoors and outdoors, while the reception will be indoors. However, there is easy access to outdoor spaces throughout the night.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but our wedding and associated events are adults only, unless otherwise indicated.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on each wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, your formal invitation will be addressed as such.
