We are excited to share some of our favorite places to see and eat in SMdA!

The Jardín, or garden, sits in front of the incredible Parroquia. This is the main reference point for most things in SMdA.

El Jardín San Miguel de Allende

This is an indoor/outdoor market that sells all kinds of Mexican artesian goods and art. This is a perfect place to wander and observe or find a memento (or 10) to take home with you!

Mercado de Artesanías

A gorgeous little winding park. On the weekends they sometimes have markets set up along the pathways.

Parque Benito Juárez

This is an amazing flowers/produce/fresh food market! Stop by to browse or have an elote (cheesy corn on the cob), or a torta for lunch at one of the local food stalls!

Ignacio Ramírez Market

This is a delicious ice cream cart! Try some unique flavors like piñon (pine nut), which was one of our favorites.

Nieves La Plazuela de San Felipe

This is a great late-night taco spot. Definitely try the tacos al pastor (pork and pineapple tacos)!

Andy's Taco Cart

La Milagrosa Birria Xalisco

A great spot for churros! Choose your filling and sit in the church plaza in front of the cafe!

Chocolates y Churros San Agustín

A little restaurant patio around the Jardín and in front of the Parroquia. Try one of their margaritas ( Emma's favorite was the tamarind margarita)!

Rincón de Don Tomás

This is a rooftop restaurant with great food and great vibes. We highly recommend the jicama shrimp tacos and the roasted cauliflower.

La Azotea

Great healthy and hearty breakfast or lunch (or brunch spot) on a truly beautiful street.
