Flight

Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF)

Those coming in from NYC or Long Island can easily book a direct flight from John F. Kennedy or LaGuardia airports straight to Buffalo. Flight time is a little under an hour, and the Buffalo airport is a pleasant reprieve from the craziness that is JFK or LGA. Flights are likely to be least expensive when booked 1-4 months before departure, January through March. For those staying in our hotel block at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport, shuttle service is available 24/7. Train

Amtrak

Amtrak trains are available from Moynihan Trail in Penn Station to Depew Station in Buffalo. The trip takes 8-10 hours. It takes longer than flying, but offers a more comfortable experience. Seats have ample leg room, and a cafe is available on board. For those staying at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport, the Depew station is 3 miles away, accessible by taxi or rideshare service.
