We can't wait to celebrate with you!

My Aunt Arlene had a time share in the Cayman Islands and had asked me to go a few times but I was never able to go. After my Mom passed away in 2014, I decided that I was finally going since she had gone with her sister and loved it. I took Andrea, my best friend from high school with me. Paul was friends with my cousin, Deb, who is my Aunt's daughter and he went with Deb. When Andrea and I first met Paul at my Aunts house at our first get together to discuss the details, we both thought oh my gosh, we are not going to be able to tolerate him for a week!! He was a know it all and a bit egotistical when it came to traveling. He had that "been there, done that" attitude about everything!! He seemed very interested in me and when we attended the Welcome Party at the resort, he pulled me out on to the dance floor. After many rum punches and seeing how I had taken dance lessons in the past and loved to dance, I just went along with it. The next day at the pool, people were asking how long we had been together. My response was "I just met him!" Apparently we didn't look too bad out on the dance floor... I remember he just said to me "watch me and just follow my lead" and that is what I did. Vacation came to and end and we kept in touch. We would hike together or go for a walk on the bike trail and I loved that I had finally found someone that shared the same interests as me. Time went on and we moved in together. I loved cooking dinner for us in my apartment and enjoying a glass of wine together. We then started visiting different wineries and breweries and just chatted and laughed and always had a great time. I was really enjoying the companionship and loved that we had the same interests and hobbies. He would just go along with whatever crazy idea I came up with! He kept talking about St. Thomas and I finally got to go with him. I completely fell in love with the island and I think I may enjoy it more than he does now. I just can't get enough of it. The friends he has made on the island have now become my friends. I am so happy to have met my soulmate and can't wait to see what the next chapter brings! ~12/03/2022~
