FAQs

We can't wait to celebrate with you! We understand that traveling for a wedding can raise a lot of questions
Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

To ensure accurate numbers, please RSVP on this website by May 28th!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we'd love for your entire family to join us for our special day, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate younger children due to space and cost constraints. However, as both of us have deep connections to youth ministry and still want to be able to share this moment with the younger generation, we are happy to invite children ages 11 and up to be part of our celebration!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

As we want to keep our celebration intimate and meaningful, we won’t be offering a plus one to every guest. However, if you’ve been invited to bring a guest, there will be space on the RSVP for you to indicate your plus one. We truly appreciate your understanding as we focus on sharing this special day with the people who have played an important role in our lives.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is recommended. We encourage you to embrace the garden atmosphere with light springy colors, floral patterns, and breathable fabrics! Ladies might choose a flowy sundress or elegant cocktail dress. Thinner heels are not recommended as the lawn at the ceremony may be soft. Also keep in mind that the bridesmaids will be wearing a eucalyptus green! For the guys, consider a light-colored suit or a short-sleeve collared shirt with dress pants or khakis.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

After careful consideration, we have decided not to serve alcohol at our wedding. We feel that this decision aligns with our values and vision for the day, ensuring that the focus remains on celebrating love, joy, and meaningful connections. We want to create a warm and inclusive environment for guests of all ages and preferences, and believe this will help everyone feel comfortable and have a great time. Ultimately, we want the celebration to be memorable for the right reasons and are excited to share this special day with all of you!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors at the Botanical Gardens, and the reception will happen indoors at the Tundra Lodge.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have a room block available at our reception venue! You can view our current hotel blocks on the "Travel" page of the website. Be sure to reserve your room by May 28th!

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

All of our venues are handicap accessible. You can find the venue locations under the "Schedule" tab of our website.
