FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden Attire but be sure to bring a warm layer. Spring nights can be chilly. Examples: Nice sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators as desired. (Note: Please wear what you enjoy wearing, these are only suggestions and we want you to feel good!)

Question

Where should I stay if I'm coming in from out of town?

Answer

You can stay anywhere in the bay area you are comfortable with, the Bride and Groom have not reserved a block of rooms anywhere. There is no need to stay in Downtown Berkeley, feel free to stay in the accommodation of your choice. The Downtown Berkeley BART station is only a couple of blocks from the venue (though a bit up hill).

Question

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Yes; Dinner, desserts, and drinks will be provided (but there are many dining options in the area if you're feeling hungry before or after the wedding).

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Wine, beer, signature drinks, and some non alcoholic drink options will be available in a limited quantity. The bride and groom can recommend a few local drinking holes that are open late to any interested parties.

Question

Will there be any dancing?

Answer

Yes! Of course! Bring your dancing shoes. Just remember a pair of flats for the hills.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be a parking garage available to guests on campus and several a block or two away. (Will update with a specific location soon)

Question

Where are the Bride and Groom registered?

Answer

Nowhere! If you wish to bless the couple with a gift, the preferred gift is a contribution to the couple's honeymoon fund because experiences together are far more valuable that possessions.

Question

Do we need to bring proof of vaccination?

Answer

Yes! Please remember to bring your proof of vaccination (paper or digital copy) as it is required for going inside the hall to dance or visit the bar/ buffet.
