Hood River County Fruit Loop

Hood River County Fruit Loop

Hood River,
, 541-490-7713

Fruit Loop members invite you to enjoy a self-guided tour of our Fruit Loop Stands along a scenic 35-mile loop in the Hood River Valley. The Hood River Fruit loop is located in the beautiful Hood River Valley at the foot of majestic Mt. Hood. The twenty-nine member stands offer you a variety of wines, fruits, vegetables, flowers, ciders, and food. While there are twenty-nine stands, they are not all open at the same times and dates. Many of the wineries are open all year. Most of the fruit stands open during harvest time, which changes every year. Cooler weather means that the fruit is harvested later, warmer weather makes for an earlier season. Specialty stands, such as blueberries, have a shorter season.

Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls

OR

This is the perfect stop on your way out to the wedding! Multnomah Falls is the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest with more than 2 million stopping by each year to take in the views. Fed by underground springs from Larch Mountain, the flow over the falls varies, but is usually highest during winter and spring. This is also one of the best places in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area to study geology exposed by floods.

Wahclella Falls

Wahclella Falls

Wahclella Falls Trail offers a relatively easy, 2.4 mile out-and-back day hike through a slot canyon to one of the more spectacular waterfalls in the Gorge. It originally had a short loop at the end, but the upper section is closed due to damage from a 2017 fire.
