Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by April 1, 2026. You can RSVP directly through our wedding website by clicking on the RSVP tab and searching for your name. Once you find your invitation, you'll be able to indicate whether you'll be attending and share any additional details we may need. If you run into any issues while RSVPing, please don't hesitate to reach out - we're happy to help!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited. If a plus-one has been extended to you, it will appear under your name when you RSVP on our website. Please be sure to include the name of your guest when responding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for your understanding and for making arrangements in advance.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive no later than 3:40 PM to allow time for parking, seating, and getting settled before the ceremony begins. This will help ensure a smooth and timely start to our celebration.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with cocktail hour and the reception taking place indoors. If the weather allows, the barn doors will be open, giving guests the opportunity to move comfortably between the indoor and outdoor areas.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at Back Orchard Barn, so you can park once and stay put for the entire evening. If needed, you're welcome to leave your car overnight at the venue - we just ask that all vehicles be retrieved by 10:00 AM on Sunday, May 17. Plan ahead, enjoy yourself, and have fun!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. We encourage guests to dress up and feel their best while also being comfortable. Please keep in mind that parts of the event will take place outdoors, so dress accordingly.

Question

What can guests expect for food and beverages?

Answer

We’ll start the evening with cocktail hour, featuring a selection of hors d’oeuvres for you to enjoy while mingling. Dinner will follow with a buffet-style meal, and there will be an open bar featuring select beers, wines, and ciders. Please have your ID ready to show — you’ll be ID’d once and then receive a stamp, making it easy to get drinks throughout the evening. Please also note that no outside alcohol or liquor is allowed, and smoking or vaping is not permitted on the property.

Question

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Answer

Absolutely! Please list any dietary restrictions or food allergies when you RSVP so we can share this information with our caterer ahead of time.

Question

Are there hotel accommodations?

Answer

We did not reserve a hotel room block, as the majority of our guests are local. However, if you are traveling and would like recommendations for nearby accommodations, please reach out! There are numerous options in the surrounding areas, including Midland, Saginaw, and Bay City.
