Matron of Honor
Jess and I met during our freshman year of college, bonding over nursing school dreams, long study sessions in the library, and way too many dance breaks to Big Sean while we drove around doing God only knows what. She was always the one jump-starting my little blue car, literally and figuratively. We've seen each other through so many of life's milestones. Her unwavering support through some of my most difficult days, means the world to me. Jess has this effortlessly sweet and carefree soul- the ways she embraces joy and finds humor in the little things has genuinely shaped how I try to move through the world. She will be standing next to me as my Matron of Honor, just like she stood by me through all the ups and downs.
Bridesmaid
Abby and I met in nursing school, both sitting nervously outside of simulation lab. It didn't take long before we became inseparable and decided to become roommates the following semester. From all-night study sessions fueled by Dunkin' iced coffee, to clinical's in Boston, to the day she waited with me in the pouring rain after I totaled my (already questionable) car- she was there through it all. We laughed, we cried, and learned to place Foley catheters together (true friendship!). Abby helped me through so many of my toughest days- days that I thought would never end. I know I can count on her for just about anything, and she would never hesitate. I'm so grateful for our friendship, and I couldn't imagine this day without her.
Bridesmaid
Hannah was my very first friend in college. I was unpacking, obviously stressed out, when she knocked on the door and introduced herself as my neighbor. She then asked- completely seriously- if we could be friends. That was it. She immediately became one of my best friends, sealed with countless dance parties lasting until we literally couldn't breathe, her first ever McDonalds run (at 3am), and sweet hilarious memories that I'll never forget. Hannah has the kindest heart and spirit that makes life more fun. I look forward to our almost daily Facetime calls to this day, talking about everything and anything. She's been a steady rock in my life- reliable, grounding, and always there. I couldn't imagine life without her in it, and I'm so excited to have her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Maddie started as Hannah's roommate and quickly became one of my best friends. She was almost always the one initiating the dance parties previously mentioned, and was always my go to for mac and cheese dates. From yelling to each other through the walls of our dorms instead of simply walking next door, and sitting up together all night long, the laughs were never ending. Beyond the laughs, I know I can count on her to always listen with such care and make me feel heard and supported. Maddie has a heart of gold and the most contagious, silly sense of humor- she keeps me laughing like no one else. She brings such a light to my life, and her love for everyone and everything is palpable. I'm so grateful to have her standing with me for this special day.
