Boulder is a city at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in northern Colorado. To the west, the trail-lined Flatirons are craggy rock formations overlooking the city. At Chautauqua Park there’s many beautiful hikes to take. (Note: there’s a high probability you’ll see cute dogs on these hikes) Our favorite is the Royal Arch trail. Downtown’s pedestrian Pearl Street Mall includes art galleries, cafes, boutiques including a list of great spots to eat after a hike!
We highly recommend checking out some breweries while you’re here! CO is known for our craft beer scene. This spot lets you pour your own tasters of local beer, wine and ciders. Plus, they have shareable plates. There are many great ones to check out but this one is in the RiNo art district(see other recommendation).
Nicknamed “RiNo,” the trendy River North Art District, known for its colorful murals. These murals are HUGE, right on the street and easily viewable/walkable. Local artists re paint these EVERY YEAR! There are food halls, coffee houses, modern cocktail lounges and you guessed it more breweries along the way.
