Roxanne and Mike are finally getting married!

We first met in 2013 at Verizon Wireless, where we both worked at the time. Despite Roxanne's dating rule, "never date anyone from work," Mike's persistence (and his "stunningly handsome looks") won her over. And from 2013 to now, the time we have spent together has been an adventure! Mike works as a Realtor at Lipply Real Estate in the Tampa Bay area. Roxanne works for Verizon Wireless, working as an Indirect Account Manager all over the west coast of Florida. We currently live together in Odessa, FL but we are looking for our new forever home. We love to travel and have taken memorable trips to Key West, Chicago, Georgia, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland (to name a few). Some of our favorite hobbies are cycling on the trails in FL, and brewery hopping - sometimes at the same time! We love to be outdoors and enjoying the FL weather, when it's not too hot out. You can usually find us spending some down time at the local watering hole, Beef's, or at home with a home cooked meal (by Mike, because he's the cook!) and enjoying some wine together.

Every Christmas morning, we travel to Mike's parents' house. After the kids opened presents, Mike said he had one last game for the kids. So, Roxanne began to video record what she thought was the game. Mike's niece and nephews lined up: Gavin, Sophia, Dalton, and baby Antonio. Mike handed them each a black square "puzzle piece." "Don't turn them over yet guys, not until I tell you," Mike instructed them. "Okay, 1-2-3 turn them around!" They turned them around. Because Roxanne was totally distracted trying to see what Antonio was fussing about, it took her a minute to realize what happened. Roxanne finally read the words they were holding: "Will You," "Marry," "Uncle Mike," "?," On the video, you can hear Roxanne say, "wait, what?!" And the video cut off as she almost dropped the phone. When Roxanne turned, Mike was kneeling with the ring. Mike stood up and she hugged him. She hadn't even realized she hadn't answered until Mike's father asked, "WELL? Are you going to say yes?!" "Oh my gosh, YES! Yes! Absolutely yes!"
