Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free parking at St. Thomas the Apostle is accessible from the alley off of Kingsley Street. Please see the map above. Free parking is also available onsite at the Kensington Hotel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend budgeting a few extra minutes for the little walk from the parking lot to the Church. There is ample space to drop-off in front of the Church for those who can't make the walk :) The Mass will begin promptly at 1:30pm.

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Check out our "Things to Do" tab for our recommendations of where to explore! Downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan campus have plenty of options that are walking distance from the Church.

I have dietary restrictions; can I make a special request?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the Wedding Mass & the reception is semi-formal. The Church is a sacred space and we ask that our guests' attire respect the dignity of the sacrament that we are celebrating.
