The Wedding of

Some love stories are written in the stars — ours started at a high school party. Back when Dana was at East Meadow High School and Justin was at Clarke High School, we met at a party filled with teenage chaos, loud music, and the kind of energy only high school can bring. We dated for a little while back then, but life had other plans. Time passed, we grew, and eventually, we found our way back to each other. In August of 2016, we reconnected — older, maybe a little wiser, but still drawn to something special we felt years before. That summer marked the start of our real love story: one built on late-night conversations, shared dreams, and a deep friendship at the heart of it all. Since then, we've grown up side by side — through new jobs, big moves, adventures, and everyday moments that made us realize this is it. This is home. In August of 2023, on the sun-soaked sands of Fort Lauderdale, Justin asked a question that would change our lives forever. Surrounded by the sound of the waves and the people who mean the most to us, Justin got down on one knee and asked Dana to marry him. With both of our families secretly watching nearby — holding their breath, holding back happy tears — Dana said yes to forever. The beach, the breeze, and the joy of having our loved ones there made it the most unforgettable moment. It was everything we could’ve hoped for: simple, meaningful, and full of love. Now, nearly a decade after that high school party, we’re getting married — and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who’ve been there through it all.
